Frost Protection

Driveway Garden

Millie revamps and replants a shady garden bed in a challenging spot. Millie Ross only has a narrow driveway garden but it’s in full sun and pumps out food and flowers all year around. However, on the other side of the drive, her neighbour’s border is in deep shade most of the time – except for late afternoons, when it gets blasted by the setting sun. Half of the bed is under overhanging eaves, making it dry too; a really tough spot to grow plants.
