Yet, he is often overshadowed by his contemporaries Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Five hundred years after his death, a documentary aims to reintroduce this sensitive genius to the world. The documentary, guided by art historian Luca Tomio, retraces Raphael’s artistic education starting from his birthplace, the Duchy of Urbino.
