River Nidd

A silver ribbon of water slices through a dramatic limestone gorge. Above it, the magnificent arches of a Victorian viaduct stand proud. This is Knaresborough, a town that seems to have sprung directly from a storybook. Its heart, however, is not found in its castle ruins or ancient caves.
