Garden Rescue episode 31 2019: Charlie Dimmock and Rich brothers, Harry and David, are in Hucknall, just outside Nottingham, answering another call to the Garden Rescue hotline.
Keely and Bruce have a lovely house, but it is let down by a blank-canvas garden. They have no idea what to put into it, apart from the hot tub that Keeley needs for therapeutic reasons after having suffered a debilitating brain injury. But the couple don’t want the tub to be an eyesore, as they want to create a space where Keely, who is often too tired to go out, can feel relaxed and happy.

The designers soon find out there’s more to the brief than meets the eye, as they also have to make the garden cool and contemporary, full of hostas and fit for the family pooch. Charlie’s design moves the hot tub to the back of the garden and wraps wooden seating around it, to make it more of a social space, while the brothers’ design uses a mix of hard landscaping and planting to screen the hot tub. Which will Kelly and Bruce choose?
